The Modesto Artists Movement (MAM) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming Modesto into a thriving, vibrant hub for the arts. We believe that art is transformative—and that by supporting local artists, hosting dynamic events, and creating opportunities for growth and collaboration, we can build a stronger, more creative community.

From poetry slams to beat-making workshops, film screenings to masterclasses, comedy nights to public art installations—MAM supports a wide range of artistic expression. We provide direct grants to artists to support their work and to organize exhibitions and educational events, and we offer multiple platforms and opportunities for emerging artists to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
